Take advantage of the long days to have an outdoor barbecue
In spring and summer, barbecuing outdoors, with friends or family is a Faial tradition. There are numerous BBQ facilities spread around the island: in forest parks, near beaches and natural pools, in camping sites, in urban squares and parks, and alongside some roads.
The BBQ facilities are large and have excellent amenities. All have dining tables and sinks nearby, and many are equipped with bathrooms, playgrounds and covered eating areas.
Some facilities have firewood available, but we recommend that you bring: Charcoal, reusable or biodegradable plates and cups, BBQ utensils and ice for drinks
Now all you have to do is choose between fish, meat, or vegetables and your favorite seasoning!
