Sea Week runs this year from the 4th to the 13th of August and you don’t want to miss it out!

From the 4th to the 13th of August, all the good winds will blow towards the city of Horta, on Faial, where one of the biggest nautical festivals in Portugal, Sea Week [Semana do Mar], will take place.

This is also one of the biggest summer festivals in the Azores that brings together sports competitions at sea, with emphasis on regattas in whaling boats, concerts, exhibitions, folklore, handicraft and gastronomy fairs. If you like entertainment, this is a good time to visit Faial!
