Starting on the 19th of July, the Regatta Les Sables-Les Açores-Les Sables connects the city of Sables d’Olonne, in France, to the city of Horta, in the Azores. This is a great biannual Mini 6.50 Class regatta (lone sailor), which in this year’s edition beats the record number of entries with 72 boats competing.

The first yacht are expected to arrive in Faial around the 27th of July, after more than a week of sailing, completing the first half of the regatta that totals 1240 nautical miles.
