This July, the city of Horta, in Faial, Azores, celebrates its 192nd anniversary of elevation to city status. From July 2nd to 6th, the city comes alive with a vibrant program of cultural events, music, traditional regattas, sports tournaments, and community celebrations.

This is the perfect time to explore Horta’s history, hospitality, and festive energy. Don’t miss the regattas featuring traditional whaleboats, the Horta White Experience at Largo do Infante, or the live music by the sea.
